Wear: Comfortable clothing/ gym attire
Facilitator: Candy 20+ years in the Fitness industry, Yoga & Pilates teacher, Reiki Practitioner
Spend 1 hour giving back and nurturing your minds and bodies.
This workshop is a beautiful combination of breathing techniques, myofascial release (using a tennis ball or foam roller) and dropping into some delicious stretches to assist the body to relax, open and lengthen. The aim is to create more space and range of movement in your bodies that you can then tap into when training on the gym floor for maximum results.
What is Myofascial release?
Myofascial Release therapy targets trigger points in the body to help release tension in the connective tissue (known as fascia). It aims to restore the fascia, build tissue resilience and release tension in common areas of the body like feet, legs, hips, back, shoulders. It’s like giving yourself a deep-tissue massage.
